Job Summary of Stocker:

Maintain and replenish stock in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer purchasing needs while fostering a friendly and courteous environment. Work shifts typically range from 6 - 8 hours.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Stocker:

• Welcome, engage, and assist customers while providing excellent service.
• Maintain product quality by stocking, rotating, and facing items; discard outdated or spoiled products.
• Cut boxes, place small containers on shelves, and maintain a clean stockroom.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other related equipment to build displays and move merchandise.
• Order products, cut cases, stack, price, and mark merchandise appropriately.
• Perform checking duties as needed, emphasizing friendly customer interactions.
• Train other employees when necessary and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary work environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Stocker:

• Ability to provide consistent, courteous service to all customers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work varied night shifts in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts (as needed), and box knives safely.
• Manual dexterity, good hand/eye coordination, and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Food Handlers Certification per state laws.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
