Job Summary of Pharmacy Associate:

This role supports the pharmacy team by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician works under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pharmacy Associate:

• Help pharmacists comply with state and federal guidelines during the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of prescription drugs.
• Coordinate inventory levels by ordering, stocking, and tracing pharmacy materials and medications.
• Ensure accuracy in prescription processing by utilizing pharmacy software applications.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Promote a tidy, structured, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Provide assistance to pharmacy staff in completing administrative duties and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Observe and uphold all company rules and safety standards without fail.

Qualifications and Experience of Pharmacy Associate:

• Pharmacy Technician holding an official certification valid in the state of practice.
• Applicants with prior work experience in a retail pharmacy setting are preferred.
• Rigorous focus on particulars and competence in adhering to strict protocols.
• Possesses excellent communication capabilities and a knack for providing top-tier customer assistance.
• Readiness to accommodate fluctuating schedules, which could include weekends and holidays.
