As the Assistant Meat Retail Manager, you are assisting the Meat and Seafood Manager with managing department inventory, pricing integrity, training, and other operational processes that require significant attention to detail. Responsibilities of Assistant Meat Retail Manager:

• Aligning efforts with the Meat and Seafood Manager to facilitate the ordering process for meat items
• Efficiently handle the slicing, cutting, and trimming of the department's prime meats and seafood offerings, as well as items for our convenient meal solutions, all while managing product quality levels as outlined in TFM standards
• Extending a warm reception to guests and assisting them proactively with accurate and timely information in a friendly manner
• Providing suggestions and meeting demands
• The strategic management of order guides and ordering deadlines is fundamental in safeguarding inventory integrity and minimizing potential damages
• Stocking goods in compliance with rotation guidelines ensures that the replenishment process is carried out effectively
• Mentor, inspire, educate, and guide team members as they work and interact with The Fresh Market's internal training system to ensure exceptional guest service in a manner that is both secure and safe

Qualifications of Assistant Meat Retail Manager:

• Within 90 days of their employment, Assistant Meat Retail Managers at The Fresh Market are required to obtain TFMA certification.
• History of over three years in customer-facing roles within retail, restaurant, or hospitality
• Extensive experience in leadership roles for one year or more
• Acquiring expertise in Microsoft Office applications is advantageous for professional development
• Individuals need to have attained the age of 18 to qualify
