Retail Order Picker

Role and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will oversee all tasks related to receiving and storing goods, ensuring smooth product movement and adherence to corporate and safety regulations.

• Carry out tasks associated with the reception and storage of goods, like unloading shipments, verifying using RF devices, organizing products in specific areas, overseeing cross-docking operations, and picking flow-through items.
• Ensure to reach the work station punctually, appropriately attired, and fully prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to OSHA and Whole Foods requirements when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Promote a workplace that is orderly, sanitary, and hazard-free.
• Adhere to the safety guidelines established by OSHA and the facility.
• Ensure that any accidents or injuries are reported without delay to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and verify truck deliveries, cross-reference with bill of lading, input details into the warehouse management software, and organize for storage preparation.
• Ensure that all incoming products adhere to the necessary food safety regulations through rigorous inspections.
• Correctly label the product for storage once the verification process is finished.
• Implement storage procedures as needed and manage the maintenance of all equipment involved in the task.
• Accurately manage the reception, arrangement, and choice of flowing-through goods.
• Properly sort and arrange cross-dock materials upon arrival.
• Ensure that the receiving zones for products, recyclables, and garbage are clear and tidy.
• Load sustainable materials and diverse products onto trucks for shipping.
• Expertly finalize all necessary inbound paperwork.
• Be sure to show up for all team and facility meetings as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay varies from $22.00 to $39.60 based on individual experience.

• Whole Benefits qualification is determined in accordance with the plan that is operational upon the start of employment.
