A new team member is being sought to join the Meijer family! With our expansion, we are looking for an entry-level Merchandise Crew Member to handle various retail duties concerning products, customer assistance, pricing, inventory control, and merchandising. The role will also involve collaboration with colleagues and supervisors for any additional responsibilities.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude.This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

Responsibilities of Merchandise Crew Member:

• Fostering a harmonious bond with customers is crucial.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Guide customers through their concerns and direct them to a team member who can provide the necessary support if needed.
• Align stock presentations with merchandising guidelines to create an inviting and visually cohesive shopping atmosphere.

• This position is applicable across various departments, such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.

• Skilled in maintaining effective communication and attentive listening, whether in in-person encounters or virtual engagements.
