Warehouse Delivery Driver

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking Delivery Drivers to serve as brand ambassadors, providing excellent customer service while delivering customer orders safely and efficiently to their homes. In this role, you will drive a company vehicle in alignment with Kroger's driving standards, while representing our Seamless Experience with professionalism and integrity. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver customer orders accurately, safely, and on time.
• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Kroger's Seamless Experience during deliveries.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and personal presentation with every customer interaction.
• Communicate with customers while in route to provide updates on delivery status.
• Drive company vehicles in compliance with Kroger's safety and driving standards.
• Assist fellow drivers as needed during deliveries.
• Ensure goods are kept within proper temperature ranges, documenting compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Safely handle products, record any breakages or contamination issues, and report them to supervisors.
• Conduct pre-inspection checks of company vehicles before use, reporting any defects promptly.
• Operate company-provided technology for navigation and customer communication.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass an annual DOT-regulated medical exam.
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld technology devices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• May require chauffeur's license depending on state requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Prior delivery driver experience.
