Bakery Team Member

Job Summary of Bakery Team Member:

To facilitate the operations and organization of the Bakery Department. A Bakery Team Member delivers exceptional customer support while also overseeing the bakery unit's day-to-day functioning. Tasks include the preparation, packaging, labeling, and stocking of a selection of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Responsibilities of Bakery Team Member:

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to your surroundings.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Assist in baking of products.
• Assist in taking a cake order for customers.
• Assist in unloading and properly putting away merchandise as it is delivered.

Qualifications of Bakery Team Member:

• Successful customer service provision relies on proficient communication capabilities.
• Effective wrapping and packaging necessitate skillful hand manipulation.
• The capability to read and write is crucial for appropriately labeling and pricing products.
• The job calls for the ability to hoist items of up to fifty (50) pounds when the need arises.
