• Assisting individuals in making healthy dietary choices by offering convenient and fresh meal preparations
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the correct preparation, packaging, and arrangement of Deli goods, all while maintaining the cleanliness of the Deli department
• Overseeing the replenishment, maintenance, and rotation of merchandise and showcases
• Organizing personalized requests and creating festive spreads
• Utilizing deli tools and equipment, including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting utensils, scales, and other relevant machinery, in compliance with company standards and procedures
• To keep the deli area and equipment clean, secure, and sanitary, it is important to organize shelves and products, maintain spill-free floors, remove dangerous debris from the ground, and sweep the area on a regular basis
• Scrutinizing, logging, and assessing items to confirm the correctness of distribution, climate monitoring, and product standards

• Standing continuously for a maximum of 4 hours is a prerequisite, adding up to 8 hours of standing during the shift.
• Conduct general housekeeping duties in the department by cleaning and sanitizing work areas like tables, floors, walls, and refrigeration units.
• Handle the slicer, wrapping, and cooking devices; participate in the care of all equipment to secure safe operations.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures policies, and procure and maintain a Food Handlers authorization
• Show resilience in handling tasks across various temperature variations, from cooler to freezer environments.
