Role and Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Clerk at Whole Foods Market, your primary responsibility is to provide customers with a positive, fast, and friendly checkout experience, representing the company well.

• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers, and electronic equipment efficiently.
• Complete transactions by accepting payments, confirming prices and quantities, and issuing receipts.
• Manage reimbursements and exchanges professionally and courteously.
• Assist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide useful product information.
• Greet customers as they arrive and depart from the store.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Handle and package customer purchases with care and accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• Basic math skills necessary for accurate transaction handling.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks carefully and responsibly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
