Cafe Team Associate

Kroger is seeking a Cafe Team Associate to provide outstanding customer service and support daily operations within our coffee shop. In this role, you will assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers and working closely with the deli department, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Cafe Team Associate, you will deliver high-quality service and help maintain smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities include:

• Elevate customer engagement through the delivery of efficient and welcoming support
• Provide support to the coffee shop lead and department manager in realizing sales and profit targets
• Maintain a secure and organized work environment following company guidelines
• Adhere to established quality standards in beverage preparation, culinary offerings, and customer satisfaction
• Serve customers a variety of coffee options, specialty beverages, and food items
• Work collaboratively with the deli department and team members to enhance the customer experience
• Arrange merchandise and stock to ensure product availability and maintain presentation standards
• Interact with customers, address inquiries, and provide guidance on products and menu options

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Proficiency in customer service and excellent communication skills
• Compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Attention to detail while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift items as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee shop operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
