Job Summary of Food Operations Leader:

The role is suited for an energetic, team-focused individual with a passion for leadership and ensuring top-notch food service. Responsibilities include assisting in overseeing food operations, upholding standards for food safety and quality, and offering quick, friendly customer service. This person helps in leading the team, adheres to guidelines for food presentation, and assists the Store Manager in fostering a positive experience for guests and team members that reflects the company’s values.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Operations Leader:

• Welcome visitors with warmth to initiate a hospitable environment.
• Monitor the administration of food supplies, costs, spoilage, cooking techniques, and visual appeal.
• Maintain a clean environment in the food service area and comply with sanitation regulations.
• Accomplish targets related to the sales of food items such as pizza, breakfast offerings, and beverages.
• Offer coaching sessions to team members to enhance their understanding of food preparation and safety procedures.
• Foster collaboration with third-party vendors to enhance oversight and education regarding food safety monitoring.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and appropriately rotate food items.
• Ensure guest transactions are processed efficiently, accompanied by excellent customer service.
• Assist the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader with any additional tasks that are assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Food Operations Leader:

• Successful candidates must possess either a high school diploma or a GED.
• The ideal candidate should possess at least six months of experience in retail or food service.
• Experience of 1 year in retail, service, or restaurant is advantageous.
• Although having a ServSafe certification is a bonus, it is not compulsory.
• Competent in handling interactions with guests and team members in a comfortable manner.
• Possessing abundant energy, agility in adapting to change, and a cohesive team mentality.
