Responsibilities of Deli Counter Associate:

• Provide a warm welcome and aid customers in their product selection process.
• Provide remarkable, amiable customer care and utilize talents and insights to propose resolutions that satisfy or surpass customers requirements.
• Execute the slicing, cutting, weighing, and packaging of products in alignment with prescribed standards and quality aims.
• Follow the utmost standards of product quality to reinforce our department's strategic objectives.
• Reach the productivity benchmarks established in the Management Planning framework.
• Expand expertise on the diverse range of products within the department.
• Adhere to company policy while undertaking all assigned cleaning responsibilities.
• Aid in educating new associates and undertaking various assigned tasks.

Qualifications of Deli Counter Associate:

• Although familiarity with deli, restaurant, or food service operations is a plus, it is not compulsory.
• Developing strong communication, customer care, and sales proficiency for optimal performance.
• Skilled in fostering effective communication and a willingness to engage in teamwork.
• Aptitude and enthusiasm for grasping diverse job duties and technical prerequisites.
• Skill in managing multiple priorities and determining their hierarchy in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Fulfilling the requisite age specifications is mandatory.

Physical Requirements of Deli Counter Associate:

• Lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach to shoulder lifting 20 lbs. frequently and overhead occasionally.
• Push/pull 3-15 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Perform repetitive grasping, hand and arm motions while standing/walking the majority of the shift.
• Meet volume activity standards established for the department.
• Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting produce items at or above waist level.
• Use hands to operate controls, feel objects and use tools to open boxes/cases or to prepare and clean produce.
• Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, and food products.
• Tolerate working in hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
