Responsibilities of Customer Service Clerk:

• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers and responding to inquiries or concerns.
• Perform administrative duties to support the front end, including basic computer entries and recordkeeping.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the front end area.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including scanners, cash registers, scales, and other office equipment.
• Follow department operations, practices, and procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards set by the company.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive, positive, and flexible work environment.
• Work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts as required by store needs.
• Uphold company image by following dress code, hygiene, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Customer Service Clerk:

• Previous experience in customer service within a retail or grocery environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform department operations and follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through skills, and customer relations abilities.
• Proficiency in operating scanners, cash registers, scales, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-changing environment and embrace change.
• Physical ability to meet department requirements, including standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
