Meat Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

The Meat Manager is responsible for conducting the proper operation of the Meat Department and coordinating employee work to achieve strong results. You will serve as a role model of professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision-making at all times.

• Oversee daily operations of the Meat Department.
• Coordinate and manage employee work to achieve department goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support company objectives through effective leadership and decision-making.
• Model professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of the role.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Certified Food Protection Manager (CPFM) or equivalent certification for food preparation, handling, and serving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced grocery store environment.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to meet visual and auditory requirements necessary for daily tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience managing a Meat Department or similar grocery store department.
• Leadership skills with a focus on employee coordination and performance.
