Job Summary of Maintenance Clerk:

The primary function of this position is to aid in store operations by providing prompt and helpful service, keeping shelves stocked and tidy, and assisting customers with their shopping needs. It involves working across different departments and helping to maintain a clean, secure, and inviting store environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Clerk:

• Provide guidance to customers by assisting them with inquiries and directing them to desired items.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in displays by stocking shelves, rotating products, and organizing effectively.
• Help in maintaining accurate inventory records by checking stock levels and reporting any discrepancies noted.
• Operate machinery such as pricing devices or hand-operated trucks when required.
• Oversee adherence to safety and cleanliness measures in every part of the store.
• Work collectively with colleagues to support general store operations.
• Providing support to various departments based on the store's changing needs.

Qualifications and Experience of Maintenance Clerk:

• It is advantageous to have retail or customer service experience, but it is not a must.
• Exceptional communication proficiency and a focus on prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Possessing the skill to adhere to instructions and accomplish tasks on one's own.
• Skillset that enables standing, walking, lifting, and transporting materials during work hours.
• Ready to undertake a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Preferably, candidates would have a high school diploma or its substitute.
