Retail Stock Associate

Role and Responsibilities:

The Retail Stock Associate plays a vital role in delivering accurate and timely online grocery orders. You will be responsible for selecting and organizing items from store shelves to ensure customers receive the correct, freshest products while maintaining Giant’s quality standards.

• Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
• Select products according to online order details, maintaining store standards for accuracy and presentation.
• Organize and prepare orders for efficient pickup or delivery.
• Process product substitutions correctly and communicate changes to customers when needed.
• Track inventory levels and report low-stock or missing items to management.
• Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized according to company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders.
• Assist with general store operations, including restocking shelves, maintaining displays, and supporting customer service needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Adaptability to support multiple departments and take on new assignments.
• Basic computer literacy for handling digital orders and tracking inventory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or warehouse operations preferred but not required.

• Competitive hourly pay between $15.00 and $18.00, depending on experience.
