Job Summary of Store Food Manager:
Seeking a motivated team player with a keen interest in leadership and delivering exceptional food service. Responsibilities include contributing to the supervision of food operations, upholding rigorous standards for food safety and quality, and providing fast and friendly service. This individual helps lead the team, maintains criteria for food presentation, and supports the Store Manager in creating a pleasurable atmosphere for guests and team members that resonates with the company’s values.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Food Manager:
- Provide a pleasant greeting to visitors to establish a welcoming ambiance.
- Manage the supervision of food inventory control, expenses, elimination of waste, culinary preparation, and meal presentation.
- Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain cleanliness in the food service area.
- Achieve targets for selling food products such as pizza, breakfast items, and drinks.
- Instruct and empower team members to follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling food items.
- Establish connections with third-party vendors to enhance food safety supervision and educational programs.
- Maintain inventory levels and rotate food products in a timely manner.
- Execute guest transactions efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Help the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader by fulfilling any additional responsibilities that are given.
Qualifications and Experience of Store Food Manager:
- Candidates must have a GED or high school diploma as a qualification.
- Retail or food service experience totaling six months is an essential requirement.
- Applicants with a background of 1 year in retail, service, or restaurant are encouraged.
- While helpful, having a ServSafe certification is not a strict requirement.
- Proficient in building rapport with visitors and team members during interactions.
- Illustrating a vigorous demeanor, agility in adapting promptly, and a harmonious team spirit.
