Inventory Coordinator

Company Overview:

Whole Foods Market values precision and efficiency in distribution and logistics. As a Distribution Center Receiver, you play a vital role in maintaining accuracy, safety, and smooth product movement throughout the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Receive and store goods, including unloading shipments, verifying with RF technology, organizing products, overseeing cross-docking, and selecting flow-through items.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, dressed appropriately, and ready to work.
• Operate powered pallet jacks or forklifts safely according to OSHA and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
• Follow all OSHA and facility safety regulations and report accidents or injuries promptly.
• Verify deliveries against the bill of lading, input data into warehouse management systems, and prepare items for storage.
• Inspect incoming products for compliance with food safety standards and tag them accurately for storage.
• Store items and maintain all relevant equipment properly.
• Manage the intake, arrangement, and selection of flow-through products efficiently.
• Stage all cross-dock products appropriately upon check-in.
• Keep receiving, recyclable, and waste areas organized and free of obstructions.
• Load recyclables and other items onto trucks for shipping.
• Complete all inbound documentation accurately and attend team and facility meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $22.00 $39.60, depending on experience.
• Comprehensive Benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid vacation, and additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for benefits is based on the plan in effect at the time of hire.
