Job Summary of Refrigeration Technician:

You are responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration systems across Walmart facilities. Work hands on with advanced tools and technologies while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Refrigeration Technician:

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including large-scale rack refrigeration units.
• Utilize digital and hand tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance efficiently.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls while maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Document all repair activities accurately using work order systems.
• Operate equipment safely and follow established protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Refrigeration Technician:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance, specifically with large-scale rack refrigeration systems.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal Refrigerant Certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
