Role and Responsibilities:

The Deli Counter Associate contributes to customer loyalty by providing outstanding service in the deli department. Key responsibilities include:

• Customer Service: Warmly greet and assist customers, thank them courteously, and address their needs consistently.
• Product Knowledge: Recommend deli items and demonstrate knowledge of offerings.
• Stocking & Rotation: Maintain product freshness and accurate date control by stocking and rotating items efficiently, while minimizing waste and managing costs.
• Equipment Operation: Operate deli tools and equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; promptly report any hazards or equipment issues to management.
• Reporting Issues: Notify management of theft, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property damage, or other policy violations.
• Other Duties: Complete additional tasks assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States or eligibility to obtain authorization.
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening.
