Responsibilities of Grocery Inventory Clerk:

• Handles the cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage areas, and the work environment for safety purposes, involving actions like organizing shelves and products, keeping floors clear of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from the floor, and sweeping.
• Tasks consist of arranging products on shelves in line with the Grocery Department's layout, ensuring accuracy in pricing and tags, and maintaining the organization and presentation of items as required by the store.
• Checks the rotation schedule for all grocery items, particularly focusing on recognizing expired products and discarding items that are spoiled or past their expiration date.
• Demonstrates a customer-centric approach by addressing inquiries and assisting customers in their buying process, offering advice and recommendations on products; involves promoting and suggesting complementary products.
• The verification process involves the examination, documentation, and monitoring of products to confirm their alignment with shipment accuracy, temperature maintenance, and quality parameters.
• Checks the point-of-sale signs; ensures the availability of different recipe cards, product discounts, promotional materials, and information on complimentary food items.
• The job mandates the operation of tools like knives, scales, wrapping devices, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Uses familiarity with scales and measurements to accurately weigh and tag products.

Qualification of Grocery Inventory Clerk:
