Job Summary of Scan Coordinator:

The Scan Coordinator ensures accurate retail pricing, timely printing, and proper placement of price tags and signs. This role is essential for maintaining pricing integrity across the store, supporting both customers and staff by providing clear, consistent, and up-to-date product information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities of Scan Coordinator:

• Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient pricing of retail merchandise.
• Verify prices, print price tags and signage, and hang them appropriately.
• Run reports and maintain documentation as required.
• Support department operations and collaborate with team members to maintain pricing integrity.
• Operate department equipment safely, including computers, scanners, calculators, and pricing guns.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department and store goals.

Qualifications and Experience of Scan Coordinator:

• Previous experience in merchandising or a retail/grocery environment.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly learn computer programs and pricing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Good customer relations and communication skills.
• Self-directed, results-oriented, and able to project a positive business image.
• Ability to operate department equipment safely (must be 18+ for certain equipment).
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Meet physical requirements necessary for the position.
