Job Summary of Pharmacy Technician:

At Stop & Shop, pharmacy clerks assist pharmacists in providing exceptional customer service. They help with prescription filling, maintain confidentiality, and ensure all transactions are processed accurately.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pharmacy Technician:

Assist pharmacists in the prescription filling process under direct supervision.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and Stop & Shop information.
Operate POS systems to process customer transactions accurately.
Provide customer assistance and answer basic inquiries related to pharmacy services.
Follow Stop & Shop policies and state regulations in all pharmacy-related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience of Pharmacy Technician:

Certified pharmacy technicians preferred (national certification or equivalent training).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
