Job Duties and Responsibilities of Bakery Clerk:

• Assist in the preparation and packaging of baked goods to meet company quality standards.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and displays.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support team members with restocking and merchandising as needed.
• Follow all safety and food handling guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience of Bakery Clerk:

• Previous experience in a bakery, food service, or retail environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and organizational skills are beneficial.
