Bakery Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Direct the Bakery Department by overseeing Team Members, procuring necessary supplies, and executing merchandising initiatives to enhance business expansion, meet customer requirements, and drive profitability.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must demonstrate 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Not mandatory to hold a high school diploma for enrollment in the desired educational course
• Mandate for Lifting: Necessary capability to lift loads up to 100 pounds in heaviness
• The minimum age allowed is 18 years

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake all Bakery Manager functions when they are not available.
• Competence in understanding and adhering to the terms laid out in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Supply products and services that consistently exceed the expectations of both internal and external clients while upholding the Company's Common Purpose, Objective, and Guiding Principles.
• Implement all prescribed procedures and standards set by the company to tackle stock shortages, sustain product presentation, increase sales figures, improve customer approval rates, ensure workplace safety, and mitigate instances of shrinkage.
• Cultivate and sustain communication protocols with other departments to create marketing strategies that aid in meeting the store's financial objectives.
• Manage, assess, and monitor the training conducted by a trainer for department employees to decrease turnover, increase efficiency, and regulate labor expenses.
• Manage, supervise, and monitor inventory and operational paperwork to calculate gross monthly profits based on Company policies.
• Oversee inventory management by examining weekly reports and acquiring raw materials and supplies to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
• Being willing to put forth the effort required to finish tasks on time.
• Working in a retail environment that offers daily engagement with the activities and tools used in the bakery department.
