As a Pharmacy Trainee, youll be a key part of our collaborative team. Job Qualification:

• Opportunity available for individuals within the 0 to 6 months experience bracket
• Requisite education: Candidates must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent educational certification
• The preferred credential in pharmacy is Pharmacy Certification
• Stipulation: Lifting should adhere to the 25-pound maximum limit
• The minimum age requirement is 18 years

Job Responsibilities:

• The pharmacy should aim to welcome patients with kindness and a positive attitude at all entry points, making them feel valued and respected.
• Illustrate exceptional patient care by respecting, engaging, and enthusiastically meeting or exceeding all patient needs, which includes processing orders in person and via phone, directing patients to products and merchandise, and referring relevant questions regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter medicine to the pharmacist.
• Comply with cleanliness policies at work to align with the expectations of the company and government.
• Aid in task distribution among team members to improve the overall efficiency of the department.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete all actions necessary in order to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care at drop-off, will call, drive thru, phone, filling and order receiving, including but not limited to: searching for patients and profiles, determining dates of fill and pick-up, determining prescriptions sent to Central Fill, quoting cash prices of prescriptions, checking on-hand counts of medications and entering invoices.
• Guide the team in creating plans of action that are designed to enhance results using a holistic approach that includes all pertinent service and business metrics.
• Help carry out all company-sponsored initiatives and projects.
• Go through the mandatory training program and its accompanying exams rigorously.
• Comply with company guidelines and state and federal regulations, including HIPAA standards and regulations on Pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales through the cash register following prescribed procedures, encompassing adherence to point of sale regulations.
• Ensure the accurate transcription of prescription data to create a bespoke label for the customer.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels by following company procedures for ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating medications and supplies.
• Attend to phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner, verifying the accuracy of exchanged information and striving for customer contentment.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns promptly through clear communication with both customers and supporting staff.
• Document daily prescriptions in written form.
