Role and Responsibilities:

As a Bake Off Assistant at Giant Food, you will play a key role in delighting customers with freshly baked goods and supporting the overall bakery operations. This entry-level, part-time position involves hands-on interaction with customers and teamwork to deliver an exceptional experience.

• Serve customers by preparing and decorating a variety of bakery products, such as cakes, cookies, and other sweets, tailored to their needs.
• Ensure all baked goods meet the high standards of quality and presentation expected by customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping the bakery area ready for production and customer service.
• Assist with other bakery duties as needed, including inventory management, stocking, and product displays.

• Customer-oriented with a passion for providing excellent service.
• Detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality presentation of baked goods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bakery or food service is an asset but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $17.65 – $18.00 per hour
