Role and Responsibilities
As a Grocery Front-End Associate, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, maintain the front-end area, and work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and store operations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers at checkout areas.
- Bag groceries carefully and efficiently while ensuring items are handled safely.
- Respond to customer inquiries and guide them to the appropriate departments or staff members.
- Retrieve, organize, and return shopping carts and baskets from the parking lot and store entrances.
- Keep the front-end and entrance areas clean, organized, and clutter-free.
- Assist with basic tasks such as price checks, shelf restocking, and returning misplaced items.
- Collaborate with coworkers across departments to maintain smooth operations and support the team as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure efficient store performance and a positive customer experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle groceries safely and neatly.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, push or pull carts, and perform light lifting.

- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer needs promptly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, grocery, or other customer service positions is a plus.
- Basic understanding of store operations, safety standards, and product handling procedures.
