Cake Design Coordinator

Job Summary of Cake Design Coordinator:

Responsible for decorating all cakes that have been ordered, the Cake Design Coordinator is accountable for designing, ornamenting, and creating visually pleasing and high-caliber cakes, pastries, and similar baked items as per the requests of customers and the standards upheld by the organization. This position includes tasks such as preparing icing, fondant, and other decorating resources, applying inventive designs, and guaranteeing that the products are fresh, appealing, and set for either sale or retrieval

Responsibilities of Cake Design Coordinator:

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to your surroundings.
• To ensure all cake orders are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Assist in baking of products when needed.

Qualifications of Cake Design Coordinator:

• Adequate customer service performance demands robust communication aptitude.
• Adequate hand coordination is a must for efficiently wrapping, packaging, and enhancing the presentation of products.
• Adequate reading and writing skills are crucial for the accurate tagging and pricing of items.
• Need to have prior experience in cake ornating.
• Required to lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds as necessary.
