Grocery Replenishment Associate

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Replenishment Associate, you will help keep the grocery department organized, fully stocked, and clean to ensure an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience for customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Unload deliveries and move merchandise to designated storage areas.
• Replenish shelves according to store planograms for accurate product placement.
• Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Label products accurately with prices and ensure all signage is visible.
• Maintain neat, organized, and attractive product displays for customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform management when replenishment is required.
• Conduct inventory counts and keep backstock areas organized.
• Remove expired, damaged, or recalled items promptly and safely.
• Assist customers with questions, product guidance, and locating items.
• Keep aisles safe and free from hazards.
• Stay updated on store promotions, seasonal products, and new arrivals.
• Clean and sanitize shelves, displays, and storage areas regularly.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
• Report hazards or equipment issues to management immediately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory and operational needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or stocking preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively.
• Basic math skills for pricing, labeling, and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
