• Availability for Day and Overnight Shifts Required for Grocery Stocker (Frozen Foods, Dairy, Bulk Items) Position

• The Food Prep area is where all of the ingredients for the meals being prepared are chopped, sliced, and diced. This area is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared properly and efficiently before they are cooked
• Clerks in the produce/floral department are often responsible for answering customer questions, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized department
• Seafood counter service is a great option for those who want to avoid the long lines and wait times that can be typical at busy fish markets and seafood stands
• Chocolate is a delicious and versatile ingredient that can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. It is a favorite among children and adults alike
• From vitamins and supplements to clothing and gifts, the Whole Body section, helmed by Stocker, offers a diverse selection of products

Department-specific support, customer care, and sanitation are key responsibilities of the Whole Foods Market Retail team members. Responsibilities:

• The ability to work a flexible schedule that covers nights, weekends, and even holidays is a prerequisite for the job.
• Performs the requisite tasks for the commencement, midpoint, and conclusion of the task as instructed.
• Maintains departmental guidelines for product preparation, storage, rotation, and stocking.
• An integral part of the retail process is the accurate preparation and pricing of products, which includes packaging and weighing.
• The proper rotation of products is ensured, and quality control is maintained through rigorous monitoring of product freshness.
• Ensures cases and shelves are well-organized and free of dirt.
• Follows guidelines to complete the spoilage, temperature, and sweep logs as per the set norms.
• Helps with carrying out scheduled inventory checks.
• Reaches the workplace on time, properly organized, outfitted suitably, and well-prepared for duties; operates throughout all prearranged time periods and participates in essential education and conferences.
• Shows exceptional adeptness in customer service, fulfilling the needs of clients capably and promptly, while also setting an example of suggestive selling techniques; answers phone calls and pages with promptness and civility.
• Improves the likelihood of sales success by utilizing productive and accurate procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, arranging, and presenting products.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• This job requires the capacity to hoist 50 pounds.

Following the first 90 days of employment and maintaining an active role, new Team Members may be eligible for a base rate increase.
