Retail Meat Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Retail Meat Coordinator, you will provide efficient customer service and maintain the quality and safety of meat products. You will support store operations and ensure a clean, organized, and compliant environment.

• Provide customers with swift and friendly service, coupled with high-quality food.
• Organize merchandise in compliance with company standards for unloading and stocking.
• Stick to assigned recipes, safety rules, and protocols when preparing, packaging, and showcasing food items.
• Execute required temperature verifications and monitor product quality to uphold freshness and safety standards.
• Ensure that sales environments, storage backdrops, and chilled sections remain spotless to prevent hazards and maintain a clear space.
• Wash and sanitize cooking tools and utensils following health and company protocols.
• Keep signage updated, rotate products, maintain freshness, and allocate space for merchandise appropriately.
• Practice safe procedures when using production equipment and handling cleaning agents and sharp tools.
• Ensure cash register usage aligns with company procedures.
• Function as a supportive team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment by collaborating effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Adept communication skills for successful interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to understand and interpret product labels, shelf tags, training resources, and bulletins.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and excel in team-oriented environments.
• Proficiency in the safe operation of cleaning agents, sharp implements, and production tools.
• Self-motivated and reliable in task completion and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food preparation or grocery store operations.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and employment practices.
• Demonstrated reliability and integrity in previous work.
• Ability to handle fast-paced interactions and provide excellent customer service.
