Responsibilities for Order Picker:

• Ensures that all all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.
• Ensures order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.

Qualifications for Order Picker:

• A high school diploma, GED, or a comparable credential is a standard prerequisite
• Intermediate-level skills in working with computers and technology.
• Shown proficiency in multitasking and performing effectively in a fast-moving work setting.
• Prior familiarity with warehouse operations can be useful.
• Ability to uphold an outstanding attendance and work history.
• The ability to listen well and communicate effectively is necessary.
• Being able to engage well with others and create meaningful connections is a valuable skill to have.
• Competent in constructing and upholding effective work partnerships.
• Skill in functioning independently while also being adept at participating in a team dynamic.
