Frozen Goods Manager

Job Summary of Frozen Goods Manager:

Maintaining the Frozen Food Department involves monitoring stock levels, rotating products regularly, and storing items correctly at the right temperatures, in addition to ensuring the department is neat and tidy to create a pleasant shopping environment.

Responsibilities of Frozen Goods Manager:

• Verify all deliveries against invoices, and note any shortages or overages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for price changes within the department.
• Maintain an acceptable inventory level by using proper ordering techniques.
• Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintenance of temporary price reduction of certain products.
• Communicate temperature failure of cases, shelves, and storage areas to manager in charge.
• Control damaged merchandise by calling in any damages and properly storing damages for sales representatives.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Greet all customers to our store and be observant while working.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport products to storage areas and to sales floor.
• Maintain shelves and cases to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of Frozen Goods Manager:

• The capacity to read and write effectively is necessary for tasks like tagging merchandise, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Proficiency in executing written and oral guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
