Bakery Team Associate

Job Summary of Bakery Team Associate:

Supporting the Bakery Department in its operations. A Bakery Team Associate offers excellent customer service by helping customers and overseeing the bakery department's day-to-day activities. Tasks include preparing, packaging, labeling, and stocking various baked goods like bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Responsibilities of Bakery Team Associate:

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to your surroundings.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Assist in baking of products.
• Assist in taking a cake order for customers.
• Assist in unloading and properly putting away merchandise as it is delivered.

Qualifications of Bakery Team Associate:

• Quality customer service necessitates adept communication skills.
• Skillful hand coordination is necessary for the efficient wrapping and packaging of items.
• The ability to read and write proficiently is essential for accurately pricing and tagging products.
• Successful applicants should be prepared to lift items of up to fifty (50) pounds as and when required.
