Responsibilities of Produce Crew Member:

• In the role of a Produce Crew Member at Sprouts Farmers Market, you play a crucial part in upholding our commitment to freshness by maintaining, preparing, and presenting our farm-fresh produce correctly, ensuring that customers receive top-tier service and satisfaction.
• A Sprouts Farmers Market Produce Crew Member must possess a high level of product knowledge and proficiency in product handling. Duties include restocking the Produce department, displaying products neatly, organizing items according to the Produce Department guidelines, and ensuring accurate tagging and pricing.
• The role of a Produce Crew Member at Sprouts involves tasks like stocking and rotating merchandise in the Produce Department, as well as responsibilities including trimming, watering, and arranging products to maintain fresh and high-quality offerings.

• Team members who are minors will encounter restrictions on certain duties within the team:
• The operation of a knife, unlike safety cutters, mandates a focus on safety protocols and responsible use to prevent any mishaps
• Using a ladder
• There is an ongoing operation of a compactor focused on processing garbage and cardboard waste
• Operating machinery that is driven by motors or electronic components (including hand-operated pallet jacks)
• Performing tasks for extended durations in chilled or frozen compartments
