Role and Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Clerk:

In the role of a Quality Assurance Clerk, your responsibilities entail maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming store atmosphere while reducing loss and adhering to Food Lion guidelines. Your efforts play a crucial part in enhancing customer contentment and operational efficiency.

• Sustain a lively customer-centric environment by emphasizing prompt, amiable, and precise assistance.
• Be polite and supportive when assisting your colleagues.
• Perform floor maintenance during evenings when vendor services are not planned.
• Conduct a weekly sanitation routine for the Produce, Market, and Deli Sections.
• Tidy up and arrange the janitorial closet in the store.
• Discovering effective methods to accomplish tasks can lead to cost savings and enhanced efficiency.
• Adhere to the daily quality assurance checklist and maintain sanitation standards as required.
• Adhere to established protocols for the safe disposal of dangerous waste materials.
• Uphold compliance with all regulations, protocols, and customary procedures established by Food Lion.
• Adhere to the protocols and procedures set in place for Food Safety and Workplace Safety for optimal safety.
• Notify the Manager on Duty of any unsafe conditions that you identify, make the necessary corrections, and report them promptly.
• Make sure to adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal authorities to guarantee compliance.
• Adhere to the dress code by wearing the Food Lion uniform along with a visible name badge, ensuring a tidy and professional look.
• Accomplish Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packets, and Training Aids effectively.
• Carry out any additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Experience of Quality Assurance Clerk:

• Applicants with a high school diploma or its equivalent are preferred.
• Exceptional abilities in building relationships, coordinating tasks, conveying information effectively, and serving clients proficiently.
• Demonstrating the capacity and eagerness to acquire proficiency in various responsibilities and technical job specifications.
• Capacity to apply technical knowledge in addressing challenges.
• Meeting the specified age criteria is necessary for carrying out certain duties within a job role.
• The capacity to fulfill the physical demands of the position, with or without necessary adjustments.

Physical Requirements of Quality Assurance Clerk:

• Proficiency in utilizing computers and other communication technologies is essential for carrying out job responsibilities.
• Engage in recurring hand and arm movements.
• Continuously bend and hoist objects weighing up to 15 lbs, with frequent lifting of 25 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally move items weighing up to 75 lbs by either pushing or pulling.
• Maintain a constant standing position with regular intervals of walking.
• Manage cleaning and packaging supplies, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, indoor plants, and cleaning agents for the home.
• Utilize hands for managing cash and operating various devices such as registers, lottery machines, scanners, and calculators.
• Reaching and grabbing are common at hip height, sometimes extending higher or lower.
• Achieve the prescribed levels of volume and productivity.
• Perform tasks in environments with intense temperatures for intervals lasting no longer than 20 minutes.
• Have the necessary eyesight to confirm identification, checks, invoices, and various paperwork.
