Inventory Manager
Job Summary of Inventory Manager:
This position involves learning and executing the daily operations of a retail location, supporting store leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. It includes hands-on training with experienced leaders to gain knowledge in staffing, inventory, food safety, merchandising, and customer service. The individual will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked environment, while developing skills for future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Inventory Manager:
- Establish a pleasant environment by warmly welcoming visitors.
- Help in maintaining the store’s operations by acquiring understanding and aiding in scheduling, guiding, and educating the team.
- Keep an eye on product quantities and restock shelves to uphold ideal inventory levels and neatly arranged displays.
- Carry out tasks that align with food safety, quality assurance, and presentation requirements in food service locations.
- Keep the store’s premises clean and sanitary, with particular attention to the cleanliness of the coffee stations, food prep areas, and restrooms.
- Efficiently conduct transactions on the cash register and assist with relevant financial processes as needed.
- Support event and meeting setup, and contribute to store readiness during weekends and holidays.
- Move between locations as necessary to support neighboring stores or to manage deposit deliveries.
- Execute duties as directed by store leadership or supervisory team members.
Qualifications and Experience of Inventory Manager:
- Successful candidates will hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience of one year in retail, food service, or guest service is essential.
- Having leadership experience in a related setting is a plus.
- ServSafe or food safety certification is considered advantageous, but it is not obligatory to possess it.
- Proficient in interacting with guests and coworkers in a high-speed setting.
- Conveying strong liveliness, flexibility, and a dedication to aiding the team’s demands.
- Having a basic understanding of computer functions can be advantageous.
