Grocery Cafe Attendant

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking a Grocery Cafe Attendant to provide outstanding customer service and support daily operations within our coffee shop. In this role, you will assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers and working closely with the deli department, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Cafe Attendant, you will deliver high-quality service and help maintain smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities include:

• Enhance customer experiences by providing friendly and efficient service
• Support the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following company guidelines
• Adhere to quality assurance standards for beverages, food, and customer service operations
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee blends, specialty beverages, and food items
• Collaborate with the deli department and team members to improve the customer experience
• Replenish and organize stock and merchandise to maintain availability and presentation standards
• Interact with customers, respond to inquiries, and provide product and menu guidance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards consistently
• Attention to detail while keeping work areas clean and organized
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift items as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee shop operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus
