Job Description for Inventory Picker:

Inventory Pickers are responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient selection of damage free product. You will help fill our stores' orders, meet delivery schedules, and promote customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants are preferred to have between 0 and 6 months of experience
• Experience in operating electric pallet jacks is considered an asset
• Applicants are welcome to apply for this educational opportunity irrespective of their high school diploma status
• Stipulation for weight lifting: Limited to a maximum of 100 pounds
• The minimum age threshold for this requirement is 18 years

Job Responsibilities:

• It is important to possess the skill of numerical counting.
• Ensure accurate product selection by utilizing a voice-operated warehouse management system to align slot numbers with the correct product descriptions.
• Move cases weighing up to 100 lbs from pick slots to pallets by lifting them correctly at different levels such as ground, shoulder, and overhead.
• Uphold and reach established productivity benchmarks.
• Produce resilient pallet configurations by combining cases of varying sizes and weights, promoting secure transportation without any damage.
• Wrap and stage finalized pallets of selected product in the appropriate shipping lanes for efficient loading operations.
• Maintain transparent communication with supervisors about safety concerns, equipment maintenance, damaged items, and any issues that might come up.
• Adapt your availability and work hours to support the organization's production demands and be open to working varied shifts and times as necessary.
• Abide by the company's policies, procedures, and safety rules, which require the safe operation of equipment and the promotion of a clean, safe work environment.
• Comply with the specified protocols to uphold proper food safety.
• Perform various assignments within the warehouse as required and instructed.
