Job Summary of Customer Service Agent:

Directing and supervising front end personnel and activities are crucial components of the position.

Responsibilities of Customer Service Agent:

• Establish strong customer goodwill by consistently delivering excellent service experiences.
• Direct and arrange the assignments of front-end staff to promote the continuous adherence to exemplary customer courtesy criteria.
• Establish and sustain effective work schedules for front-end staff in order to mitigate customer inconvenience.
• Apply store policies concerning front-end operations and aid store managers in addressing issues with front-end employees who do not adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Hand over tasks to cashiers based on the instructions given by store management.
• Coordinate training initiatives for fresh recruits and existing associates.
• Assist cashiers with checking the prices of merchandise.
• Notify store management and the scan coordinator about any pricing irregularities.
• Assist individuals with merchandise returns, rectifying overpayments, and addressing errors in billing.
• Confirm customer checks and enforce check cashing procedures.
• Follow a set cleaning schedule and prioritize good housekeeping practices for the front section.
• Monitor and oversee the procurement of front end supplies like register paper and ribbons to uphold orderliness
• Offer salutations to guests and show attentiveness towards the people present in the retail space.
• Observe and abide by all company policies as detailed in the official handbook for employees.
• Adequately support the staffing needs of the Service Center and offer comprehensive training for the Acting Customer Service Supervisor.

Qualifications of Customer Service Agent:

• Strong oral and written communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and Vendors.
• Strong analytical and mathematics skills for conducting accurate audits.
• Must be knowledgeable in federal and state child labor laws regarding employment of individuals under the age of 18.
