Job Summary:

As a stocking team member, you will unload deliveries and stock products on the sales floor and in the backrooms. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and being part of an energetic team, Wegmans is the place for you! You may be considered for a stocking opportunity in one of several departments including Produce, Deli, Cheese, Seafood, Meat, Bakery, and Restaurant Foods.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Unload daily deliveries and stock products in cases, displays, and backroom coolers.
• Verify that the quantity, quality, and products delivered match invoices and assist with tracking inventory, damages, and variances.
• Maintain fresh, clean, and well-stocked shelves and cases.
• Maximize sales by following proper procedures for stocking, rotating, and merchandising products on the sales floor and in backrooms/coolers.
• Ensure proper handling of products, equipment use, and adherence to food safety practices.
• May work in cold temperatures and occasionally lift weights ranging from 8-32 pounds, with occasional lifting of over 50 pounds.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good physical stamina to lift and stock products.

Salary:

• Pay: $15.50 - $16 per hour.
