What is the Costco Member Prescription Program?
The Costco Member Prescription Program is NOT insurance. It is a prescription drug discount card program that provides eligible Costco members and their eligible dependents with the ability to obtain lower prices at participating pharmacies.
Will I receive a new CMPP discount card?
No. Your membership card is your CMPP discount card. Simply present your membership card to receive your Rx discount.
Who qualifies as an eligible dependent under Costco Member Prescription Program?
An eligible dependent is a person who is under the age of 18 and a legal dependent of the member. Pets may also be listed as a member's dependent.
How does the CMPP Card differ from insurance?

The amount of any price reduction is determined at the time of purchase, based on negotiated discounts with suppliers and manufacturers for the drug(s) dispensed, and/or the net cost of purchasing certain drugs, both of which may change from time to time. You are welcome to ask your pharmacist about the amount of your savings under the CMPP discount card when you purchase a prescription. Saving range from 2% to 40% or more depending on the drug. Prices are subject to change and may vary by location.
