Role and Responsibilities:

As the designated personnel, your duties will consist of managing the acceptance and storage operations, facilitating product circulation, and complying with safety standards and corporate guidelines.

• Manage operations related to receiving and storing merchandise, such as unloading shipments, verifying through RF scans, storing products in assigned areas, handling cross-dock logistics, and selecting flow-through items.
• Be punctual at the workplace, appearing well-groomed, dressed according to the dress code, and prepared for all assigned work hours.
• Abide by OSHA and Whole Foods rules when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Establish and sustain a work setting that is both safe and clean.
• Respect and adhere to the safety protocols mandated by OSHA and the facility.
• Notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership promptly of any accidents or injuries that occur.
• Process incoming truck shipments, confirm against bill of lading, log information in the warehouse management system, and arrange for positioning in the warehouse.
• Check incoming inventory to guarantee it meets the mandated food safety regulations.
• Properly tag the product for placement following the verification step.
• Execute storage of items when necessary and uphold the upkeep of all relevant machinery.
• Execute the accurate reception, staging, and selection of goods passing through smoothly.
• Properly organize and arrange cross-dock deliveries during check-in.
• Maintain unobstructed receiving spots for products, recyclables, and waste.
• Transfer reusable items and various goods onto vehicles for transportation.
• Accurately fulfill all inbound documentation requirements.
• Attend all meetings organized for the team and facility without missing any.

• Possessing the physical fitness needed for the role.
• Adept at clear communication and proficient in working collaboratively with others.
• Capability to safely and efficiently handle all required machinery.
• Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to fulfilling customer service expectations with vendors, customers, and team members.
• Skill in concluding tasks with attention to detail, correctness, and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of quality goals and proficiency in product understanding specific to WFM.
• Exhibited reliability and ownership in completing assignments.
• Demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engagement in receiving operations for a year, encompassing all its aspects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly earnings can be anywhere between $22.00 and $39.60, determined by the level of experience.
