In the role of Distribution Center Receiver, your involvement is critical in ensuring the precision, safety, and efficiency of the receiving processes that are vital for the seamless transfer of products along the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct duties linked to the reception and placement of products like unloading, verifying with RF devices, setting up items in specific spots, managing cross-dock operations, and choosing flow-through merchandise.
• Punctuality is essential at the workplace, so make sure to be timely, well-dressed, and prepared for all assigned shifts.
• Adhere to OSHA and Whole Foods requirements when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Establish and sustain a work setting that is both safe and clean.
• Uphold all safety measures enforced by OSHA and the facility.
• Promptly report all accidents and injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership as soon as they occur.
• Receive and inspect incoming truck shipments, compare with bill of lading for accuracy, document in the warehouse management system, and prepare for placement in the storage area.
• Examine incoming goods to verify adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Appropriately identify the merchandise for storage once verified.
• Conduct putaway operations as required and sustain the condition of all machinery associated with the position.
• Manage the accurate reception, staging, and picking of products with a continuous flow.
• Properly organize and arrange cross-dock deliveries during check-in.
• Ensure that the receiving zones for products, recyclables, and garbage are clear and tidy.
• Transfer reusable resources and merchandise onto transportation trucks.
• Perfectly finish all required inbound paperwork.
• Make sure to be present at every team and facility gathering.

• A year of practical involvement in all receiving operations duties.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly salary falls within the range of $22.00 to $39.60 and is dependent on experience level.
