The Sales Associate is crucial in enhancing the shopping experience for customers through top-notch customer care, keeping displays well-maintained and orderly, as well as upholding a clean, secure, and customer-friendly sales area.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Essential Functions:

• Provides exceptional customer support by warmly welcoming, aiding, and expressing gratitude towards all members promptly, with a friendly and polished approach. Addresses member issues promptly and politely, escalating to higher authorities if needed.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of protocols for safeguarding merchandise and responding to shrink alerts.
• Manages and updates the AP Alert Binder in compliance with AP guidelines.
• Follow the top-rated guidelines, which involve checking items at the bottom of the cart, handling electronics carefully, utilizing self-service checkout, and expressing gratitude to the customer for their membership. Verify that the items correspond to the receipts at the register and ensure the authenticity of expensive products. Keep track of any inconsistencies in the receipts and promptly inform the frontline staff to address the issue.
• Audits are conducted on Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery in accordance with the company's protocols.
• Monitor the implementation of repack awareness protocols by examining identified repack items.
• Keep track of the flow of individuals coming in and out of the club, both members and guests, to ensure safety and security
• Adheres to specified Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarm protocols when addressing triggered alarms.
• Upholds strict safety protocols for both members and team associates.
• Examines the bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes of team members, staff, and vendors upon exiting the premises.
• Handles the processing of vouchers for the return of empty water jugs by members.
• Abides by all regulations and guidelines set forth by the club.
• Carries out additional tasks as required, such as providing assistance in various departments as necessary.
• Consistent, expected, complete attendance is a fundamental requirement of this role.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication abilities and a focus on precision are essential.
• Having foundational math abilities is advantageous.
• Proficiency in utilizing a sophisticated mobile gadget.
• Compliance with mandatory training and certification protocols is essential for successful completion.
• A minimum of half a year of company tenure is required for employment eligibility.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Environmental Job Conditions:

• Almost every moment is dedicated to being upright and active on firm ground.
• Bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and using ladders/step stools may be necessary from time to time.
• Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 30 pounds may be necessary.
• Being subjected to varying temperatures indoors and outdoors.
