As a Certified Pharmacist, we will look to you to develop, lead and coach a service conscious pharmacy team who will consistently build relationships with patients by exceeding their needs and providing safe, accurate and efficient patientcare to achieve optimal patient, team member and company outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and play a role in the safe and efficient dispensing of all patient orders by abiding by all quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Model superior patient care by valuing, engaging, and enthusiastically meeting or surpassing all patient needs, including offering counseling and adeptly addressing challenges.
• Perform all the duties of a Pharmacist, including but not limited to, interpret, fill and refill prescriptions for medications/durable medical equipment, reviewing all clinical aspects of the prescription; maintaining up to date patient profiles; verifying patient receives accurate medications/durable medical equipment.
• Illustrate allegiance to company regulations and legal statutes at the state and federal levels through coaching and practical examples.
• Improve overall team performance and patient care by strategically scheduling appointments, assigning tasks efficiently, and managing resources effectively.
• Track inventory performance by overseeing daily reports, managing physical inventory evaluations, and ensuring the proper handling of medicines and resources to meet patient requirements and optimize profits.
• Collaborate effectively with the Supermarket team's key members, like the Pharmacy District Leader, Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor, supervise, and coordinate the recruitment, education, development, appraisal, recognition, and empowerment of staff members to guarantee ongoing engagement and enhancement of departmental services.
• Maintain a hygienic and organized work setting to fulfill the stipulations outlined by the company, as well as local, state, and federal statutes.
• Analyze and evaluate all relevant service and business metrics to support in the development of strategies for improving outcomes.
• Execute all prescribed audits and documentation
• Provide hands-on management by offering coaching and feedback to team members according to established guidelines.
• Build and nurture a work environment that prioritizes the positivity and contentment of each team member.
• Provide vaccination services and actively participate in clinical activities to optimize patient care and company success.
• Support in training and developing new team members within the Pharmacy Lead role to enable them to effectively implement and execute all company initiatives and programs.
• Stay abreast of new pharmaceutical advancements, drugs, and treatments to remain informed and up to date.
• Sustain professional competency and service capabilities while being a proponent for positive changes in the pharmacy profession aimed at enhancing patient care and company success.
• Continually enhance professional connections with external partners, such as nurses, physicians, and industry stakeholders.
• Perform the tasks of a Pharmacy Technician as requested.

Job Requirements:

• The job mandates a minimum of one year of pharmacy experience within a total of one to three years of overall experience, with at least three months of licensed pharmacist practice
• Having prior experience managing a team is a plus for this position
• A Bachelor's Degree is a compulsory credential for this position
• Those in the pharmacy sector are required to have specific credentials such as immunization certification, a valid CPR certification, licensing, and an NPI as part of their professional requirements
• Load restriction: Limited to lifting weights up to 25 pounds
