Grab & Go Food Associate

Position Summary:

Do you enjoy preparing fresh food and providing fast, friendly service? As a Grab & Go Food Associate at Sam’s Club, you’ll help create convenient, ready-to-eat meals that our members love. From stocking shelves with freshly prepared items to ensuring quality, safety, and cleanliness, you’ll make sure members always find great food options—ready when they need them.

You’ll Make an Impact By:

• Preparing, packaging, and stocking freshly made “Grab & Go” food items.

• Monitoring food quality, checking expiration dates, and removing unsellable items.

• Maintaining proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls.

• Keeping shelves, coolers, and prep areas clean and member-ready.

• Providing excellent service by helping members find the items they want.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare & Package: Assemble and package sandwiches, salads, and other ready-to-eat items.

• Stock & Rotate: Ensure shelves and displays are full, organized, and rotated by freshness dates.

• Maintain Safety: Follow all food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and company policies.

• Assist Members: Greet members, answer questions, and help with selections.

• Team Support: Work with café and fresh food teams to meet daily goals.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay based on experience and location.

• Additional premiums may apply for certain shifts or responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Willing to complete all required food safety and compliance training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior food handling or food service experience.

• Food Safety or Food Handler Certification.
