CDL A Truck Driver

Role and Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods from the distribution center to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Plan and follow routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and check orders for the correct number of cases.
• Load and unload products using ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and related equipment.
• Maintain DOT compliance while operating tractor-trailer equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and dispatch teams.
• Report any issues, safety concerns, or vehicle problems promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized truck.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record and clear MVR.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 53ft. tractor-trailer.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical delivery tasks.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dock-to-dock palletized freight deliveries.
• Strong time-management and route-planning skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and customer service.
