Physical Requirements of Checkout Attendant:

• Must have the ability to constantly lift or carry up to 10 lbs., frequently lift or carry 11-20 lbs., and occasionally lift or carry 21-50 lbs. Must also have the ability to occasionally lift or carry 51-100 lbs. with a team lift.
• Applicants are required to demonstrate the capacity to frequently exert force to move items weighing up to 15 lbs. and occasionally exert force to move objects weighing between 16-100 lbs.
• A requirement of the role is the intermittent use of the computer for data input and mouse navigation.
• It is necessary to be capable of continuously walking, standing, making precise hand movements, gripping, bending, rotating, twisting, and reaching out for the entirety of the work shift.
• Should have the capability to frequently reach up beyond chest height.
• One should be ready to sit, squat, kneel, and climb as the situation demands.
• Successful candidates must be prepared to work routinely with sharp tools and equipment, as well as in dusty, fume-filled, and crowded areas.
• Able to perform duties in environments with intermittent noise, cold temperatures, warm temperatures, humidity, outdoor conditions, elevated positions, and physical pressure.
